While most of the passengers in the bus that was overtaking escaped unhurt, majority of the passengers in the bus coming from the opposite side including the driver, were severely injured.
The police was investigating the case on the basis of documents and the picture would become more clear once Daler was brought back from Delhi, he said.

Patiala, December 29 The Patiala police is finding gaps in the testimonies of complainants in the human trafficking case registered against pop star Daler Mehndi even as it has been forced to reissue notices under Section 160, Cr PC, to complainants who have still not appeared before it to corroborate their allegations against the pop star.
According to sources, the police had issued notices the complainants some days ago.
