I have never encountered this with other wireless connections for which I have the password.

I just kept resetting the router the router via the pencil method until it worked.

My wireless network isn't currently encrypted/secured, if yours isn't either then someone might have pushed the "synchronize security" button, I think that's what happened to me.

Are you receiving an endless "Validating Identity" connection status when trying to connect to a wireless network.

I have tried to troubleshoot all I can, and now all of a sudden when I try to connect to this wireless network, it says "windows is unable to find a certificat to log you onto the network GOMEZ, after when Iclick on status, it says validating identity.

but it keeps on bouncing on the icon activity when I bring up the status it has a big red ?

Uncheck "The key is provided for me automatically" and enter and confirm your Network key.

I have a desktop computer with a wireless card, running Windows XP SP3.

I recenty switched from AT&T Uverse to Time Warner because AT&T Uverse could not support Cisco VPN Client.
